Professional Communications
Course Description: This course focuses on the fundamentals of Desktop Publishing and Web Page Design. Students will use Microsoft (MS) Publisher 2013 to complete their desktop publishing assignments. The capstone project will be a student created a digital portfolio which includes project artifacts, Web 2.0 creations, and a well-established blog.
Challenge: Provide students will authentic graphic design practice, projects will incorporate fundamental skills and current design trends.
Solution: Designed relevant projects available on a dedicated course-specific website that provides resources, sample projects and rubrics outline project outcomes and expectations.
